Tech Stack

Setup

  1. Install prerequisites.
  2. Clone repo to your machine.
  3. Fire the new directory up in the IDE of your choice. (I'm partial to Atom.)
  4. Build the project on a local server. (In PowerShell, accomplish this using bundle exec jekyll serve).
  5. View local changes in-browser at http://localhost:4000/.

Hey Val please remember to add this to the repo later kthnx

Project Status

  • Most updates will be individual blog entries with no code changes.

  • ☑ To-Do: Pride banners year round, baby.

  • ☑ To-Do: Additional social networking.

  • To-Do: add quick walkthrough on configuring Netlify to the readme in case I ever need to do it again.

  • To-Do: responsive display bug for custom pride flags on mobile devices.

  • To-Do: support for post categories (currently they exist internally, but do nothing)

Acknowledgements

  • Current template provided by Jekyll Themes.
  • Chaz and Hayden for guidance and also being pleasant rubber ducks.

Contact

Everything is @EVHaste's fault.

The irony of listing contact details in the readme of a project which itself contains a contact page is not lost on me.
