Installation

To set up this music blog locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the Repository: Clone this repository to your local machine. git clone https://github.com/your-username/music-blog.git
  2. Install Jekyll: Ensure you have Jekyll installed. If not, refer to the Jekyll installation guide for instructions.
  3. Install Dependencies: Navigate to the project directory and install the necessary dependencies.
    cd music-blog
    bundle install
    
  4. Run Locally: Start the Jekyll server to run the site on your local machine. bundle exec jekyll serve
  5. Access Locally: Open your browser and visit http://localhost:4000 to view the music blog.

Usage

  • Create Posts: Add new blog posts in the _posts directory. Use Markdown to format the content.
  • Customization: Modify the _config.yml file to adjust site settings, navigation, social media links, etc.
  • Deployment: Deploy the site to a hosting platform like GitHub Pages or Netlify for live publishing.
