Garnj

This package is compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac Osx and is meant to help you start your custom Jekyll page.

Provides an easy to use Gulp.Js workflow with:

• Live style injection a browser preview via Browser-Sync.

• Minification and Concatenation of Html, Sass, Css and Javascript files.

• Image optimization.

• Easily create new pages or post with rake tasks.

• Some of Html 5 Boilerplate philosophy:

  • Normalize.css for CSS normalizations and common bug fixes
  • jQuery via CDN with SRI Hash and a local fallback

Quick Start

1. You need to have installed this:

   • Gulp 4
   • Yarn
   • Ruby 2.5.0 & Bundler (Installation is Os Dependant)

2. Then download the latest release from here

3. CD into the folder:

   cd Garnj
   

4. Then run the install script depending on your Os:

   • For Windows:

   .\setup\install.bat
   

   • For Mac and Linux:

     ./setup/install.sh:
     

5. Finally:

   gulp
