Heidi

Heidi is a clean Jekyll theme/template for artists, photographers etc. that want to showcase themselves and their works. It's based on Hyde by @mdo.

Features

In addition to the features of Hyde, Heidi adds the following:

• gallery layout that can be populated with images from pages that have image layout
• Multilingual and i18n support using jekyll-polyglot
• Metadata tags for search engines and social networks using jekyll-seo-tag
• Minified HTML, CSS and JavaScript assets with jekyll-minifier
• Uses kramdown for markdown and rouge as highlighter

Usage

1. Clone or fork Heidi repository
2. Install jekyllrb
3. Install dependencies cd heidi && bundle install --path .bundle
4. Edit website content
5. Build the site bundle exec jekyll build
6. Your static site is in _site directory

Contributing

1. Fork it!
